March Full Moon Women's Wellness Workshop
Celebrate the Full Moon through movement and intention during this relaxing evening for women.

Time & Location
Mar 07, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Waunakee, 5682 WI-19, Waunakee, WI 53597, USA
About the event
The full Moon is a time to be receptive, to take the light and awareness of spirit into your emotional and physical body. It's a great time to support your release of the old and unnecessary through movement and reflection. The full moon of March is commonly known as the worm moon. This full moon March is known as worm moon because of the Earth worms that wriggle out of the ground as Earth begins to thaw in March.
The evening will include:
- A candlelit gentle yoga flow (blocks and various options provided) to reap the benefits of movement for our bodies, minds, and souls.
- A guided meditation (yoga nidra) to nurture ourselves through deep rest and relaxation.
- Journaling and setting intentions around a bonfire (weather permitting) with soothing warm chai latte (decaf).
You will be lead by Amanda Sherer, a trained yoga teacher with years of experience teaching movement classes throughout the Madison area. The event will take place at the beautiful Schumacher Farm Park just north of Madison in Waunakee. The workshop will be in their climate-controlled building, the Center for Rural History, except for the bonfire which will be outdoors. Feel free to come early to wander the prairie trails and connect more with nature and the seasons.
Participants should bring their own yoga mat (if you don't have one, reach out as I may have one for you to borrow), water bottle, and any props (like a small pillow and/or blanket) to make yourself comfortable during the guided meditation.
